about

1-5 recorded at 'multi-trax studio' northampton, 1983
>>Grey Matter was the first band i named and started (January 1983) that had an actual bass player, proper gtr/amps & drums (well... the set up i had was with timbales instead of rack toms and the kick drum was plastic and had a wooden kick pedal, and i used metal drum sticks) and tune-able guitar and practiced & performed.

Tracks #6-20 are from a '43 song collection' from our first practice tape (easthampton june 21, 1983)
